BREAKING NEWS: Steelers quarterback Shut Down.

Steelers quarterback Shut Down.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback will remain the same this week.

Mitch Trubisky will remain the starting quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers for Week 15, according to head coach Mike Tomlin during his weekly news conference. Trubisky finished the game with 22 of 35 completions for 191 yards and a score, but he also had one interception. Tom stated that the veteran quarterback improved throughout the game and expects that to continue through another week of practices. “I thought Mitch’s play improved as the game went on,” Tom said. “It’s fair to expect him to be better because he’s had a full week of preparation this week.

The Steelers have a backup quarterback in Mason Rudolph. In recent days, he has been mentioned as a player who should be considered for the starting job. Rudolph has not appeared in a regular-season game since the 2021 NFL season and has gone 5-4 as a starter.

According to Pittsburgh coach Mike Tomlin, the Steelers will have a full week’s practice before playing the Indianapolis Colts after being short last week. “Mason Rudolph will get some practice with the starters,” Tomlin said. “

Mason will have a chance to get some playing time, of course, said Tomlin. “You don’t get many opportunities to do that, especially when you’re in the three spot and when you’ve got a full week to do that, sure.”

“We don’t want to encourage competition or anything like that, it’s not the kind of environment we want as we work,” said Tomlin.

Pittsburgh is 2-4 in Trubisky’s starts. The Steelers are 6th in the AFC wild card race but face four winning teams (two of which are in the playoff hunt) in this final stretch of games.
