NFL Hits Steelers With another huge Fines.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have been hit with two more fines on top of the ones they already have for this season.

The Pittsburgh Steelers defense has been hit hard by another fine from the NFL, this time for Week 13. The NFL has imposed two fines on the Steelers defense, this one for Week 13 vs. the Arizona Cardinals and the other for Week 14 vs. the New York Giants.

Elandon Roberts, the Steelers’ inside linebacker, has been fined by the NFL for an unnecessary roughness penalty on the Arizona Cardinals in Week 13. Roberts was penalized for a hit on Arizona’s running back, Emari Demerercado, which resulted in a one-yard penalty. Roberts will now have to pay a fine of $21.855.

After the play, Demercado went down with a neck injury and was ruled out for the remainder of the game. In the fourth quarter, Demercado was penalized for unnecessary roughness, resulting in a $10,297 fine. Demercado, the special teams captain, was penalized three times in the game, and one of those infractions resulted in a fine of $10,297. The penalty resulted from Demercado’s facemask on Arizona Cardinals punter Greg Dortch, resulting in a 15-yard penalty.

The Steelers also got some good news regarding their hefty fines this season. Running back Jaylen Warren’s $48,556 fine was overturned after he filed an appeal, but Pittsburgh still has collected almost $400,000 in fines this season through 13 weeks.
