EXCELLENT NEWS:Fresh Steelers LB Jaylon Smith is prepared to accept his Pittsburgh job

With the acquisition of former Cowboys Pro Bowler Jaylon Smith late Friday night, the Steelers expanded their inside linebacker room. Smith played in just one regular season game during his stay with the Las Vegas Raiders this season.

The veteran claims he is prepared for any job that is given to him now that he has arrived in Pittsburgh.

“What the role will be, I’m not sure,” Smith remarked. “I’m going to make sure I’m prepared for whatever comes up.” I’m an experienced individual who knows he can still bring a lot of value to a company.

Smith went on to say that he respects and is aware of the legacy of being a Pittsburgh Steelers defense player.

“I understand the Steel Curtain tradition because I’m from Pittsburgh, and for me, it’s just about giving it everything I’ve got, putting pressure on myself, and adding value.”

Whether Smith will play this week against the Seahawks is still up in the air.
