Leeds United face ‘huge shock’ in January transfer window with Pascal Struijk, Tottenham’s best in the championship, ‘sniffing’

According to Carlton Palmer, it will be a “huge blow” to Leeds United’s hopes of winning promotion if they lose Pascal Struijk to Tottenham in January.
Experts told Football League World on November 11 that “after Complete and mature defender” is currently “the best in the championship” and with this form it is inevitable that other clubs will be interested, especially Spurs who have just lost Micky van der.
Ven suffered a “paralyzing” injury in the 4-1 loss to Chelsea on November 6.
Struijk, 24, is considered a target for Ange Postecoglou, although Palmer is certain the club will do everything possible to persuade him to stay and achieve success again at Elland Road.

Palmer said: “It looks like Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring Pascal Struijk.
Spurs midfielder [Micky] van de Ven has suffered a debilitating hamstring injury and is expected to be sidelined for a significant period of time.
“They could look to recruit more defensemen in the January transfer window.
They control the central Dutch half from Leeds.
“He is a very decisive defender and very comfortable on the ball.
He’s becoming a complete and mature defender and the best in the Championship.

“It would be a huge blow to Leeds United in their bid for promotion.
Unfortunately for them, when a player performs well, he always receives unwanted attention.
“From the club’s point of view, Leeds will hope to keep him and will say – ‘you will play in the Premier League next season’.
” The inevitable conversations The season so far has been characterized by Leeds United benefiting from Spurs’ defensive strengthening rather than the other way around.
Joe Rodon’s loan spell proved vital in bolstering a long-unsettled backline, as the Welshman formed a formidable partnership with Struijk in midfield.
And while Djed Spence may have been injured after his debut for the White Devils, big things are still expected from Postecoglou’s second temporary signing on his return from the international break international.

Daniel Farke is sure he doesn’t want to lose Struijk mid-season as he stressed the importance of maintaining defensive continuity this week as he revealed Rodon himself will not be called up by Spurs back in January due to Van der Ven’s injury.
Struijk’s minor hernia surgery has forced the German out of continuity, with Liam Cooper coming on in this weekend’s 2-1 win over Plymouth Argyle, but they will want the injured player Come back as soon as possible.

Leeds United

It’s really hard to see Tottenham being willing to spend the amount of money it would surely cost to land Struijk, as their solid half-season in the Championship probably can’t undo their last two inconsistent campaigns in the top league.
Both sides will certainly discuss future possibilities involving Spence and Rodon, so Struijk will likely come up in the conversation, but unless Farke has big plans for Charlie Cresswell, he It seems difficult to part with the incumbent.
