With Salah’s future at Anfield uncertain, the German manager has reportedly set his sights on luring the Oranje playmaker, according to a more recent report from Spanish source Todo Fichajes.
According to the media outlet, Dortmund is reportedly worth around £50 million, and Liverpool is prepared to negotiate a price with the Bundesliga team.
Before relocating to Germany, Malen was a hit for PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands. He scored 10 goals and contributed 8 assists for BvB in all competitions last season.
The 24-year-old has excelled mostly as a right winger, but he can also play on either flank and even as a center forward.
Under Edin Terzic’s direction, the 26-cap international has started 12 games so far this season, tallying 4 goals and dishing out 2 assists.
However, in as many games for the Reds this season, Mohamed Salah has directly contributed to 14 goals.
To replace the Egyptian, Klopp needs a player of the highest caliber. Do you believe Donyell Malen has the potential to enhance Anfield’s already outstanding attack?
