Prior to their Premier League match, Aston Villa gave Nottingham Forest a fitness hint.

The most recent information about Aston Villa comes from a player for Nottingham Forest who may return from injury against Unai Emery’s squad.

Prior to the Premier League match against Aston Villa, two Nottingham Forest players have provided updates on their fitness; one of them may make a comeback for the encounter.

In their most recent match against Liverpool, Forest faced a bit of an attacking third crisis after missing several players for a few weeks. Steve Cooper was forced to start the game without a striker due to a late injury to Chris Wood, but they were buoyed by Taiwo Awoniyi’s return, who was able to contribute some minutes from the bench.

Ben Chilwell battles for possession with Danilo during the Premier League match between Chelsea FC and Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge.

With key midfielder Danilo offering an update ahead of Sunday’s game, it appears that Villa’s opponents may have received an additional boost. The Brazilian has been posting images of himself working out on Instagram with the caption, “WE BACK, THANK GOD.”

Cooper told NottinghamshireLive prior to the match against Liverpool that the midfielder was back to working out on a part-time basis as he continued to strengthen his hamstring injury. Now that he appears to be back in full training, his chances of playing against Villa are increased.

It has been confirmed that the second Forest player who posted an update will not be playing against Villa. Callum Hudson-Odoi, a former player for Chelsea and England, sustained a hamstring injury and will likely be out for six weeks.

He uploaded photos of himself working out on social media. He captioned the photo, saying, “Missing it, soon be back!”

In addition to Hudson-Odoi, Forest will undoubtedly be missing Gonzalo Montiel, Chris Wood, and Divock Origi for the match. Felipe, the central defender, is also a serious doubt as he nears full recovery from a knee injury.
