Aston Villa made a wonderful gesture to the Ghanaian Lions on social media.
Owusu Boakye Amando-led Villa fan group Ghana Lions, who have gained considerable popularity on social media, took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to plead for support.
The tweet read: “Hello our lovely Aston Villa fans. We are humbly asking if anyone here has a spare football. Our football is not in good condition. Football makes us happy. Thank you.”
After many likes and shares on the platform, Villa responded. Their message read: “Package on the way,” followed by a handshake emoji
The tweet received a quick response from the Lions of Ghana who replied: “Oh this is great news. We really appreciate it.
One Villa supporter said: “Great news and well deserved for your passion and love. You get VP with these amazing drums.”
