Now the decision made by the club looks good. Cherries manager Andoni Iraola has confirmed that thsidelineder will be sidelines sometime with a hamstring problem. The midfielder did not play in the final three months of the Leeds season last season. A different hamstring problem saw him miss the interim period when the Whites were relegated from the Premier League.

decided not to sign Adams in the summer
Steve Cooper was said to be a big fan of Adams. In the end, the club did not believe that they could justify paying £20 million for a player who was not considered a priority signing.
Ibrahim Sangare was identified as the number one defensive midfielder early on and Forest finally got their man. Adams, who will be at Bournemouth, faced angst from impatient Forest supporters. Chelsea almost signed the player as well. The Blues agreed a £20m deal with Leeds but pulled out after problems emerged during treatment. Iraola told The Daily Echo after yesterday’s game: “I don’t know what to call it, a setback, but he’s not well. He’s been out for a long time, so we have to reassess, reset and make good decisions.
“It’s true that he’s definitely going to be out for a while. I think it’s the same area. I can’t say if it’s the exact same thing, but he’s not feeling well.”

Ross Wilson delivered a masterstroke over Adams in the summer
In the summer, he had to win over some fans who wanted a quick acquisition. However, the sporting director could be forgiven for feeling very comfortable with it

Adams, who will pay Bournemouth £20m, reckons it could be £1m for the 20 games he is likely to play this season! He hardly ever fits and that hamstring seems to be a big problem.

It’s almost as if Wilson knows what he’s doing and should just be allowed to continue doing the job he’s being paid to do. The summer recruitment was solid and with several club recruits, Wilson can be satisfied with his work
