Jim Harbaugh is no longer the head football coach of Michigan, as of this writing. After winning three consecutive Big Ten titles and this season’s national championship, he departed his alma institution on Wednesday to take a similar position with the NFL’s Los Angeles Chargers.

That’s where the most recent Wolverine Confidential podcast episode begins: Was there any surprise in Harbaugh’s exit? No, spoiler warning!

Administrators at Michigan claimed to have tried every effort to keep Harbaugh. Nonetheless, some people wish to hold athletic director Warde Manuel accountable for Harbaugh’s exit. Is that critique accurate?

We also discuss what — or more accurately who — comes next for Michigan football. Sherrone Moore seems like the logical choice to replace Harbaugh. What might his staff look like and how will the transition affect recruiting and the current roster?

We tackle all of that on Wolverine Confidential. You can listen to the entire episode below, by clicking here (latest episode of Wolverine Confidential), or anywhere you find podcasts.
