Steelers controversial penalty has fans claim NFL ‘Rigged’ patriots.

On the replay, a Patriots defender jumped offsides on a fourth-and-three play, which would have given the Steelers a critical first-down if the Patriots were called for an offsides penalty. Instead, the officials called a flag on the Steelers’ long snapper (Christian Kuntz) for jumping offsides because his head was moving.

According to the broadcasters who called the game, the manner in which Kuntz moved was not unusual for a long snapper to do on a punting play.

Following the loss, many Steelers fans took to social media to express their anger. Here are some of the best reactions from Steelers fans who claimed the game was “rigged” Thursday night.

Some people say the NFL isn’t manipulated. Last week on YouTube, it said the 7-6 Steelers played the Cardinals. The NFL knew all along who would win. Especially after that “false start” by the long snapper.

On the replay, a Patriots defender was seen to be offsides on a fourth-and-three play, which would have given the Steelers a critical first-down if the Patriots were called for an offsides penalty. Instead, the officials called the Steelers’ long snapper, Christian Kurtz, for being offsides because his head was moving.

On the play-by-play, a Patriots defensive back was ruled offside on a 4th-and-3 play that would have resulted in a crucial first-down for the Steelers if the Patriots had been penalized for offsides. Instead, however, the officials penalized the Steelers’ long snapper Christian Kurtz for offsides due to the movement of his head.
