Two Eagles superstar deal is bad news for the Philadelphia Eagles’ NFC East rivals.

The 2023 NFL season opened with the Philadelphia Eagles dominating the Minnesota Vikings 38-28 on ‘Thursday Night Football’ to improve to 2-0.

Eagles offensive tackle Jason Kelce and quarterback Jalen Hurts agreed that the team has a lot of room to improve after their NFC East-leading 2-0 start came to an end Thursday Night Football against the Minnesota Vikings. Kelce and the Eagles’ offensive line, led by Hurts, dominated the Vikings’ offensive line to give them a much more comfortable win than the score would suggest. D’Andre Swift, whom the Eagles acquired in a trade with the Detroit Lions, ran for 175 yards on a team-high 259 yards. The Eagles entered 2023 as favorites to make it to the Super Bowl.

The goal is to win, and the offensive line did a great job today, Hurts said, adding that 250 rushing yards is impressive. “We have a lot of room to grow and learn as a team, so we’ll keep that in mind going forward,” he said. Kelce added that the offensive line loves to be called on to run, and they were happy to do so throughout the game. “We know we have some things to work on, like Jalen mentioned, and we had some opportunities on offense, and we need to score more points. This game shouldn’t have been as close as it was,” Kelce said.

Hurts went on to say, “We continue to develop and put success first. That is the most important thing to us. We hold ourselves to a high standard. If we score every drive, and sometimes we do, then that becomes how we win. We must cherish these victories because we are on a climb, and the climb gets more difficult as we ascend.”

We will continue to improve because we will work, we will hold each other accountable, we will learn from our mistakes, and there is no pressure on us to do so.

“But as long as we stay together and put winning first, that’s all that matters, and I think every person on this team understands that. We just need to keep growing.”

The Eagles’ 2-0 record now allows them to sit back and watch the Dallas Cowboys play host to the New York Jets and the Washington Commanders play host to the Denver Broncos to determine who will remain at the top of the NFC East. In Week 3, Philadelphia will host the undefeated Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-0), who beat the Vikings to start the season and will host the Chicago Bears Sunday.
