Tottenham has signed an ambitious rated defender with €100m.
Tottenham Hotspur want to strengthen their defence in the coming months, and Fichajes reports that they are interested in signing Portuguese centre-back Antonio Silva, who has already established himself as a key player in the heart of Benfica’s defence and has earned seven caps for the Portugal national team.

One of his top targets is Silva, as he seeks to strengthen his defence.
The A-League boss wants to sign a player who can compete for a spot in the starting line-up alongside Micky van de Ven or Cristian Romero.
Postecoglou believes Silva, who is only 20 years old, could be a valuable asset for the club in both the short and long term.
However, the €100m release clause in his deal could be a stumbling block. Spurs are still very keen to sign the Benfica centre-back as they aim to build a squad capable of challenging for the Premier League crown next season.
