In a new interview, Zaniolo urged Aston Villa supporters to “give him time to adjust” and “let him show his quality”.

Zaniolo has had a quiet start to life at Villa Park after joining the club on a season-long loan, but these new quotes mean he has set a goal and needs to deliver.

Zaniolo said that when a change is made, it takes time to adjust. He added that he is content in the Premier League, and Aston Villa is a great team. “I have plenty of time ahead of me and I want to take advantage of it and prove my quality,” he said.

Zaniolo’s poor form at Villa led to him being dropped by manager Unai Emery for Aston Villa’s Premier League game against Fulham, in which he was an unused substitute.

“When you make a change, it takes some time to get used to it,” Zaniolo said. “I’m happy with the Premier League and Aston Villa are a good team. I have a lot of time left in my career so I want to make the most of it and show my best.”

After a poor start to life at Villa, Zaniolo was dropped for Aston Villa’s Premier League clash with Fulham, where he made an unused substitute appearance.

It takes time to adjust to a new situation, but I’m content with my situation in the Premier League, and Aston Villa is a great team. I still have plenty of time ahead of me in my career, and I want to use it to the best of my ability.

Zaniolo was left out of Villa’s squad for their Premier League game against Fulham, making an appearance as an unused substitute.
