It’s been reported that Leeds have been told that they will have to pay £20m for the 26 year old, and that the Premier League side are willing to sell him.

Tottenham Hotspur are ready to sell Joe Rodon to Leeds United on a permanent basis, but they’re asking for £20m. The 26-year-old has been in great form for the Welsh giants since joining them on loan last summer, helping them to keep a clean sheet in 13 games – they’ve only conceded 11 times in that time.

It looks like Rodon has finally found a place to call his own after three difficult years at the club. He’s got a great deal of support from Pascal Struijk and has also played alongside Liam Cooper. “It’s great to see him doing well,” said Tottenham’s Davies, who is one of Rodon’s closest friends in the game. “Leeds will want him permanently, that’s for sure.” In the summer, Hay said they had talks about signing Rodon on a permanent basis, but were told it would cost around £15m and Leeds thought that was too much. So a loan deal was arranged between the two clubs.

Tottenham are willing to sell Joe Rodon to Leeds for £20m, but they’ll need to sell some players to do it. It’s a big fee, but Rodon is worth it – he’s a top-class defender and promotion is a must-have. Plus, Spurs would get a £5m profit from the sale.
