I’ve got a word – The Leeds United star admits he had a chat with his national team-mate before the Whites moved on

Leeds United midfielder Glen Kamara has revealed that he talked with Teemu Pukki before joining the Whites and stated that the Finland international had only good things to say regarding Daniel Farke.

The Yorkshire outfit decided to appoint Farke as their manager in the summer and handed him the responsibility to take Leeds back into the Premier League.

Leeds are third in the league table and after defeating league leader Leicester City last week, Farke’s side are determined to get an automatic promotion spot.

Kamara joined Leeds this summer and he revealed that he talked with Pukki, who played under Farke during his Norwich days, regarding the manager and stressed that the forward had only good things to say about the German tactician.

The Whites midfielder also added that he was excited to join Leeds after speaking with Finland team-mate Pukki and stated that he realised that everything the former Norwich star told him was true after talking to Farke.

“Yeah, he texted me too.
Everyone is doing their due diligence,” Kamara said on the official Leeds United podcast.
“He has been texting and talking to me and he has nothing but good things to say about the manager.

“I said, ‘Okay, I’m excited’ and obviously after speaking to the manager it confirmed what he had said.
Kamara has been impressive this season for Leeds and he will hope to continue his form against Plymouth Argyle on Saturday.
