I’ve never done that. Aston Villa player’s “fantastic” performance stunned pundits.

On Match of the Day 2, Glenn Murray and Dion Dublin praised Nottingham Forest star Ola Aina. Against Aston Villa, the 27-year-old scored his first goal for the team early in the game.

Aina scored his first goal for the team after receiving a pass from Harry Toffolo, the left back for Forest. With Orel Mangala scoring his first goal of the season, the Reds prevailed 2-0.

It made the defender proud to watch him score the team’s first goal. Since checking in from Torino during the summer, he has been a respectable addition to the team.

Two commentators on Match of the Day 2 praised Aina.
Murray’s career was concluded at Forest, despite the fact that his admirers never got to witness him play. At Forest, he completed the 2020–21 season when football was played behind closed doors.

He thought Aina’s finish, which gave Forest the lead, was impressive. Dublin was the same, and he has stated that he never succeeded in doing so as a player.

“Sometimes when you come on to a shot like that the temptation can be to leather the ball with your laces,” said Murray to begin Match of the Day 2. However, it’s a controlled side step, and it’s a truly great finish.

“It’s difficult to finish like that, that low from so far out,” Dublin continued. It’s hard; I’ve never done that!

Aina is proving to be a great addition to Forest.
Aina is the free agent that is drawing attention amidst a plethora of signings that Forest paid a premium for. The team has missed the player when he has missed games due to injuries; hopefully, he can now stay healthy.

He has some time on his side at 27. Having the versatility to play multiple positions also makes him a very valuable addition to the team at this level.

Aina’s happiness was evident to everyone after he scored for Forest yesterday. As the season goes on, he will now be hoping to add a few more.
