“NOBODY KNEW”: PUNDIT SUGGESTS TOTTTENHAM HAS MADE AN EVEN BETTER SIGNING THAN The James Madison

Prior to teammate James Maddison, Tottenham Hotspur has been informed that Micky van de Ven is the season’s best acquisition.

Pundit William Gallas believes that Tottenham Hotspur’s summer acquisition of defender Micky van de Ven was a complete success.

Spurs had a difficult season the previous year and needed a major infusion of quality over the summer.

James Maddison, who cost approximately £40 million and was acquired from Leicester City, provided Ange Postecoglou with significant reinforcement.

Then, in what now appears to be a brilliant move, Tottenham made another significant deal, paying £34.5 million, eventually rising to £43 million, for Wolfsburg defender Micky van de Ven.

Micky van de Ven, a Tottenham signing, is praised by William Gallas

In the center of the Tottenham defense, Van van Ven has been exceptional, forming a solid partnership with Cristian Romero.

The Dutchman can play defense because he is a left-footed defender by nature. He is also very tall and quick.

Former Spurs defender William Gallas has now praised Van de Ven in an interview with The Mirror (05/11, p63).

Although James Maddison is being hailed as the season’s best addition, Gallas believes Van van Ven is the real winner.

The Frenchman believes that Van de Ven’s transition from the Bundesliga to the Premier League makes him the real signing of the season. “We already knew how good Maddison was, and his going to Spurs was the natural progression. People aren’t surprised to see him doing so well, and Tottenham’s players have more quality than Leicester’s,” Gallas said. “Maddison’s quality was already well-known in England and he was always likely to make an impact for Tottenham.”

“Van de Ven is a rookie in the Premier League who was unknown before he arrived. He needed to get used to a new team and league. He is a flawless player who plays a very straightforward style of basketball. He continued, “People are talking about him now, and he’s starting to score.

For many years to come, Van de Ven appears to be a star.
Tottenham anticipated having to shell out a significant sum of money for a suitable left-footed center back in the future.

In that sense, the market has flourished, and teams frequently shell out large sums of money for left-footed defenders.

Just take a look at Josko Gvardiol and Lisandro Martinez recently.

Tottenham made a move for Van van Ven, who is still incredibly talented at just 23 years old, in order to secure their long-term solution.

Although Van de Ven needs to stay healthy and maintain his current level of play, Tottenham appears to have a true future star on their hands.
