During the January transfer window, Catamo may decide to leave the Portuguese team. It is yet to be seen, though, if Aston Villa, Tottenham, and Arsenal make a serious offer to sign him.

The 22-year-old is a right-sided winger by nature. However, he is adaptable enough to play on the left side as well. He’s the kind of player Arsenal could really use in their lineup. In recent seasons, Mikel Arteta has been forced to use players like Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka excessively.

In order for Arteta to rotate his main players, Arsenal must thus bring in players who can step up in their absence. The Sporting CP winger will find the chance to join the North London club to be an alluring offer, and it is yet unclear if Arsenal and his club can currently agree on a fee.

In a similar vein, Tottenham’s attack might also benefit from some depth. Ivan Perisic and Manor Solomon are both out with injuries. Thus, it might be a good idea to sign a talented winger. Whether Tottenham can compete with Arsenal and get his signature is still up in the air.

In the meanwhile, Aston Villa may decide to part ways with Bertrand Traore in the upcoming months, in which case they will need to find suitable successors. The 22-year-old Sporting CP winger might be a good fit for Unai Emery’s team as he attempts to assemble a group that can regularly contend for European football.

It will be interesting to watch where the winger ends up, as any one of the three clubs could prove to be exciting destinations for him. He might be able to play in the Champions League next season with Arsenal and Tottenham, which are also probably more alluring on paper as destinations. He’ll want to play for the biggest teams that have the potential to win the most important trophies.
