The Golden State Warriors had a disappointing end to their season, so the team could be looking to make a big move for another star this offseason.
One of the game’s most underrated stars has been made available for trade by his team, as the New Orleans Pelicans have said that they are listening to offers for Brandon Ingram. And in recent reports, the Warriors are one the teams that are interested in the All-Star forward.
If the Warriors wanted to pair another star with Stephen Curry, Ingram could be a good choice because of his ability to score in the mid-range effectively.
The Dubs are known for their terrific outside shooting as well as solid off-ball movement. The prestigious mid-range shooting of Ingram would provide a new dimension to the offense of the Warriors that could take them to the next level.
Ingram averaged 20 points, five rebounds, and five assists, and he came up just short of matching his career-high in field goal percentage. His three-point percentage may leave a bit to be desired, but that is where the greatness of Curry comes in.
If the Warriors want to try and make a run at the NBA Finals one last time with Curry, then Ingram could provide the scoring boost that the team needs.
