Central defense will certainly be lacking for Tottenham, with Eric Dier the only senior centre-back Ange Postecoglou can turn to if Crisitan Romero or Micky van de Ven are injured. So it’s no surprise that Fichajes is now advising the Premier League side to prioritize signing a top centre-back when the transfer window reopens.

According  to the report, the Lilywhites want to sign Bremer’s services in January and are willing to pay more than €40m (£34.7m) for the Brazilian. The magazine explains that although the 26-year-old has been a mainstay at the back for Massimiliano Allegri and has emerged as one of Juve’s leaders, he could be tempted by the chance to “try his luck in the Premier League”.
However, Fichajes adds that Spurs are not the only Englishman looking at Bremer, with the defender also said to be on the radar of some rivals. It has been suggested that while Tottenham want to close the deal “as soon as possible”, the price of the former Torino star could rise as a bidding war breaks out.

There is no way Juve would be willing to sell Bremer for just £35m. With the centre-back under contract at the Allianz Stadium until 2027, he is likely to receive at least £50m in January and potentially much more if other Premier League sides bid.
