Warrior’s finally agreed to sign Paul George for $85.5 Million from LA Clippers… See more…

Despite being the reigning NBA champions, the Golden State Warriors failed to reach the Western Conference Finals. With a lot of tough decisions to be made this off season, the team may be best suited to make a bold consolidation trade.

Right now, the Warriors appear to need upgrading talent on the wing. Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole had strong performances throughout the Warriors’ title run last season, but they each substantially regressed this go around.

The Warriors also seemingly do not trust the lack of shooting ability of Jonathan Kuminga to pair him with Draymond Green and Kevon Looney. Neither of those veterans appears to be going anywhere soon, and Kuminga is already unhappy with his situation.

One option that stands out as a superstar to monitor is Paul George of the Los Angeles Clippers. It’s unlikely that he would be traded this off season, but the Warriors have.

With the Warriors being a fluid half-court offense that maximizes catch-and-shoot talent, George’s skill set would be a perfect fit. He would maintain the team’s perimeter defense while being a major upgrade in offensive firepower.

Could the Warriors pull off a trade for George?
