An NBA fan records Michael Jordan reacting in a video as 39-year-old LeBron James dunks against the Hornets.
A fantastic spoof film featuring Michael Jordan responding to LeBron James’ dunking against the Hornets was made by a fan.
With LeBron James putting on a dunking exhibition against the Charlotte Hornets on Monday night, an NBA fan created a video of Michael Jordan reacting to his dunks. In the edited video, Jordan could be seen getting upset as he watched James, and he eventually walked out of his suite in disgust.
It is fairly well made and has gone viral on X. For those wondering what Jordan was actually reacting to, it was a game between the Hornets and the Los Angeles Lakers in January 2022. Charlotte was really struggling to close out the contest which frustrated Jordan, but they eventually managed to win 117-114.
Getting back to LeBron and Jordan, there is actual footage of the Chicago Bulls icon reacting to some dunks. Back in 2013, James stared at Jordan while dunking against the Charlotte Bobcats in the playoffs.
Then in 2019, Jordan was irate after a LeBron dunk against the Hornets, as he seemed to believe that an offensive foul had been committed.
With Jordan having sold his majority stake in the Hornets, we are unlikely to see any more of these reactions from him. What we will get, though, is more edited videos of him reacting to LeBron, with one going viral last year too.
These, of course, stem from the GOAT debate that will rage on until the end of time. LeBron and Jordan never played against each other but have formed quite a rivalry due to those debates.
The Hornets’ continued struggles combined with LeBron’s continued excellence means we’ll get a few more of these videos in the coming years. In Monday’s game, James had 26 points, 4 rebounds, 7 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block, as the Lakers won 124-118.
