This weekend features a ton of Georgia Bulldogs football games to watch, including the Senior Bowl, where Ladd
McConkey and Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint are increasing their draft stocks, and the Shrine Bowl, which stars Zion
Logue and Tramel Walthour. However, for those who follow the NFL, the Pro Bowl activities began last night and
will go on all weekend until the game on Sunday.
Three Georgia players will be featured the 2024 AFC and NFC Pro Bowl rosters for this weekend, so let’s take a
glance at who is participating and in what competition they will compete in. First up is the NFC offense, which
holds D’Andre Swift from the Philadelphia Eagles, the Dawgs lone Pro Bowler on the NFC, offense or defense. The
AFC side is home to Buffalo Bills running back James Cook and Baltimore Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith. On
Thursday night Cook was part of the first dodgeball game, which was the AFC offense vs. the NFC defense. Cook
got one person out to help seal the victory for AFC’s offense. The second game of dodgeball was between the NFC
offense and the AFC defense. Swift was a part of the second dodgeball game and didn’t do much as far as getting
players out but did a great job talking trash to the AFC defense, which included Roquan Smith, by pointing and
laughing at every player who was put out.
The players will then have two days to practice with each other and understand what concepts they want to run for
their flag football match that was put in place last year instead of a padded game. Once Sunday rolls around there
will be “Kick Tac Toe,” “Move the Chains,” Gridiron Gauntlet,” and a Madden NFL Head-to-Head game.
