Kenny McLean’s new contract with Norwich City has been officially announced by the club.

Just weeks after he was rumored to be moving on, Norwich City has confirmed that Kenny McLean has signed a new contract to stay at Carrow Road until 2026.

Since joining from Aberdeen, the Scottish international has had a significant impact for the Canaries, and under David Wagner, he still plays a crucial role in the team.

Daniel Farke, though, was eager to work with the midfielder once more at Leeds as a result of McLean’s recent success.

“Everyone says this is a family club, and it really is. I’m raising a young family here right now, and it’s wonderful for us. Being settled off the field helps you on the field.

“I’ve had the privilege of leading this club while Grant is away. I’ve always attempted to assume a lot of responsibility. I’ve achieved success at this club by earning a couple of promotions, and I’m itching for more. We share the same aim and goal, which is why I want to be here.

What will Norwich do next?
Prior to the international break, Wagner’s team experienced a disheartening setback when they lost against Rotherham, which was their first loss of the year.

They return to action this afternoon against Stoke City at home in an effort to hold onto their playoff spot.
