Observing Oklahoma’s transfer portal activity in real time, from players leaving to those joining in the offseason for 2024.
The 30-day post-regular season transfer portal window closed last week, but transfer season is still in full swing as we hit the second week of January.
There has been an avalanche of activity across the college football landscape, as programs work their way through the transactions and roster management that comes with the current age of college football. Oklahoma, of course, is no exception.
The Sooners saw their roster movement begin shortly after their regular season wrapped up against TCU, with a few players announcing their plans to transfer ahead of the start of the December transfer window. More followed once the window opened, most notably starting quarterback Dillon Gabriel, which has paved the way for the Jackson Arnold era in Norman as Oklahoma prepares to make the move from the Big 12 to the SEC. More decisions will come for Oklahoma, both in terms of players departing the program and new additions joining the fray this offseason.
Sooners Illustrated will have you covered through it all, as Brent Venables and his program continue to prepare themselves for the next stage of Oklahoma football. This post will be your one-stop shop for transfer portal activity for the Sooners, as we plan to update it any time a player enters the transfer portal, withdraws from it or commits to the Sooners for the 2024 season. We’ll also link back to all the stories we have written about the transfer portal and its transactions this cycle.
