John Alridge, a former player with Liverpool, thinks the Reds should take advantage of their current opportunity to monetize Mohamed Salah before his contract expires.
Teams in the Saudi Pro League have expressed a keen interest in the Egyptian star, who has been linked with a move away from Anfield in recent months.
Salah will remain at Liverpool, as Jurgen Klopp reaffirmed, but Alridge thinks the English powerhouses should look into the possibility of selling their star player.
“The club knows if Mo wants to go there, it would be silly if he still has one year on his contract because they wouldn’t sell up, and he’d go for nothing at the end of his contract,”
