Pittsburgh Steelers top Player Posts a Racial Tweet…

Pittsburgh Steelers former players have been making headlines over the past week for some of the things they have said on Twitter. First it was former NFL wide receiver Rashad Mendenhall, and now it’s an even more notorious former player with questionable social media behavior.

On Christmas Eve, former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown took to Twitter to share some of the most controversial things he has said about some of the most prominent athletes in the sports world.

In a series of tweets posted on Christmas Eve, Brown wrote, “I’ve decided to separate athletes by race.” It’s not the first time he’s gone off the rails on social media, and he’s certainly not afraid to do it.

So what’s next?

In a previous tweet, Brown said he and Michael Jordan “are the only African-American athletes who have gone out on top” (he used different words to describe it).

However, one person replied that QB Peyton Manning “walked away with a Super Bowl.”

Brown simply responded, “Cracker doe.”

Some people told Brown to get help.

Others called him out for racism.

And then there were some that simply couldn’t help themselves.

Ex-Pittsburgh Steelers players have a habit of posting on Twitter

Brown isn’t the only ex-Steeler to send out a racist tweet. Last month, former defensive end Rashad Mendenhall called on the NFL to “change up the format of the Pro Bowl.” Mendenhall called for teams to be “divided by race.”

As you can imagine, that tweet gained a lot of traction on social media. In light of this, and Brown’s timing, people are now making jokes about how former Pittsburgh Steelers can’t stay away from racism on Twitter. Of course, these were two shady tweets from two shady former NFL players at the very least.
