Sergio Reguilon sent Tanguy Ndombele a note of support, therefore Tottenham Hotspur decided to allow him to sign with Galatasaray.

As the two leave Tottenham Hotspur on loan, Tanguy Ndombele has received encouragement from Sergio Reguilon.

In England, the deadline for transfers passed on Friday, but clubs can still sell players to nations where the window is still open.

One such nation is Turkey, to which Tottenham has sent not one but two players.

Galatasaray pounced with a double deal, bringing in Davinson Sanchez permanently and loaning out midfielder Ndombele.

Neither player appeared to be part of Ange Postecoglou’s plans, and they have now gone on to Turkey to play for the first team.

Tanguy Ndombele receives a telegram from Sergio Reguilon.
Ndombele finalized his transfer on Monday despite not even being a member of Ange Postecoglou’s matchday squads for the Premier League.

The Frenchman will aim to excel for Galatasaray as he urgently tries to restart his career in Turkey.

Ndombele posted a picture of himself wearing a Galatasaray shirt for the first time on Instagram to mark his move.

The message on the post was “Cim bom bom,” which is a chant used by Galatasaray supporters as Ndombele tries to make an early impact.

Sergio Reguilon, a former Tottenham teammate, responded in the comments by simply calling the Frenchman “Ndomballer,” a nickname that Spurs supporters once used but presumably haven’t heard in a while.

Reguilon left Tottenham as well.

In recent days, Reguilon has also left Tottenham on loan, joining Ndombele.

This summer, the Spanish left defender returned to Tottenham following a fairly underwhelming loan with Atletico Madrid.

Reguilon was glad to be loaned out to Manchester United by Tottenham because Postecoglou also had no intentions for him.

Since the Red Devils have a break clause that could force Reguilon to return to Tottenham, they needed a left back on loan at least until January.

We would be shocked if Reguilon or Ndombele ever played for Tottenham again, but after some trying years, they absolutely need to make these loan moves count.
