Defender Maksim Paskotsi of Estonia has signed a long-term contract with Swiss team Grasshopper Zurich after leaving Tottenham Hotspur.
The 20-year-old developed with his hometown team FC Flora before joining the Spurs academy in 2020, and he rapidly earned a reputation as a defensive player who can score goals.
In 19 league games for Spurs’ Under-18s in the 2020–21 season, Paskotsi scored five goals, twice serving as the team’s captain, and made an impression on Nuno Espirito Santo.
