Another Magic top Player Fined $2,50 By NBA.

The Orlando Magic faced the Boston Celtics on Friday afternoon at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. The Magic defeated the Celtics 113-96. Moritz Wagner scored 27 points and had three rebounds for the Magic. He shot 9/13 on the field and was 1/3 on three-point attempts in 24 minutes. Franz Wagner finished with 17 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 1 block. The NBA fined the Magic for the game.

Wagner is now averaging 18.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 43.6% from the field and 27.9% from the three-point range in 16 games.

The win over the Celtics gives the Magic a record of 11-5 through the first 16 games of the season, good for second place in the Eastern conference. The Magic are currently on a six game winning streak and have gone 6-2 over their last eight games at the Amway Center in Orlando, FL.

The Magic will next play on Sunday night when they host the Charlotte Hornets, who are led by 19-year-old phenom LiAngelo Ball

Wagner, who was selected by the Orlando Magic with the eighth overall pick in 2021, is now in his third full season in the NBA (all with the Magic). He has a total of 175 games under his belt, with an average of 17.1 per game (4.4 rpg, 3.2 apg) and a shooting percentage of 47.2%. He is also a proficient three-point shooter (34.9%).
