Cowboys owner Jerry Jones gives his take on Thanksgiving win Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones shares his thoughts on Thanksgiving win

Dallas Cowboys team owner Jerry Jones could not have been more thankful for how Thursday went for his team.

Dallas throttled the Washington Commanders 45-10 on Thanksgiving at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

While the competition wasn’t particularly competitive, it did have two big moments. First, there was the halftime show, which featured the 77-year old country legend putting on an iconic show at her age. Second, there was the highlight of the game, which was a pick-six by Cowboys second-year corner DaRon Bland (video here). It was his fifth of the season, which tied the NFL record for most picks in a single season.

When asked about Thanksgiving 2023, the Cowboys owner said it ranks among the best days in his team’s history, including Super Bowls. “I can’t think of a better day,” he said. “I’ll add Super Bowls to that list, but this is the best day I have ever had with the Cowboys.”

Jones has owned the Cowboys for over three decades and has seen the team hoist up three Super Bowl trophies.

Putting Thanksgiving 2023 up there amongst the Cowboys’ best moments is a pretty eye-opening take. But Jones is clearly feeling the holiday spirit.
