Exclusive: A midfield transfer target is being “tracked and followed” by Liverpool, an expert confirms.

It has been confirmed that Liverpool are keeping tabs on Fluminense midfielder Andre, but as of yet, no real progress has been made, according to Fabrizio Romano’s exclusive Daily Briefing column.

The young Brazilian talent appears to be a great fit for Liverpool or other elite European teams, and at 22, he will undoubtedly be prepared to advance to a more competitive league in the near future.

Following the departures of Jordan Henderson, Wataru Endo, Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister, and Ryan Gravenberch, Liverpool has already made a number of midfield changes.

James Milner, Fabinho, Naby Keita, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Is there space on the pitch for another signing there? According to Romano, it’s unclear just yet, but LFC has been keeping an eye on Andre and has been following him for some time.

In today’s column, Romano gave an update on the Andre to Liverpool connections, saying: “We’ve heard a lot of rumors about Liverpool, Arsenal, and other clubs, and Andre continues to impress at Fluminense as one of the most talented young players in Brazil. Liverpool spent a lot of time this summer rebuilding their midfield, and there have been rumors that they may still look to add players to that position in January.

“Andre will continue to be tracked and followed by Liverpool, that much is certain. Jurgen Klopp and other team members have always had high regard for him. Since Andre didn’t want any distractions leading up to the Copa Libertadores final, there hasn’t been an update as of yet. We’ll be keeping an eye on this over the coming months.
