Free agent forward Dario Saric has agreed on a two-year, $10.6 million deal — including a player option — with the Denver Nuggets, sources told ESPN on Saturday.
Saric comes to the Nuggets with the opportunity to play a major role alongside and behind three-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic. Nuggets general manager Calvin Booth pursued Saric to bolster the Nuggets’ bench unit with his versatility, experience and superior basketball IQ.
Saric averaged 8.0 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists for the Golden State Warriors last season. He has also had stops with Oklahoma City, Phoenix, Minnesota and Philadelphia. He missed the entire 2021-2022 season rehabilitating a torn ACL.
For his career, Saric has averaged 10.6 points and 5.4 rebounds.
