Cincinnati Bengals finally sign Denver Broncos’ best player Patrick Surtain II for $190 million contract…

With the NFL Draft just days away, there is buzz floating around Broncos Country that the team could indeed be looking at trading its best player.

Though fans would likely hate to see the team move on from Patrick Surtain II, it is no secret that the Broncos need to find an answer at the quarterback position and head coach Sean Payton could be planning an aggressive approach to do just that.

Surtain, the team’s first-round pick in 2021, has made the Pro Bowl in each of the last two seasons and is considered by many to be the best cornerback in the NFL.

Sitting at No. 12 in a draft riddled with solid prospects at the quarterback position, the Broncos could look to include Surtain in a trade package to get into the top 5 of the selection process in order to select a player such as J.J. McCarthy or Drake Maye.

The Broncos are also lacking a second-round pick and with a roster that includes several big holes, could also consider the idea of moving Surtain for a package of picks to gain more draft capital in a class that is loaded with talent.
