MIND BLOWING: Tyrese Maxey, Sixers earn big home win over…..

PHILADELPHIA: Looking to get back on track, the Philadelphia 76ers hosted the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday. In order to go forward without Joel Embiid on the court, the Sixers needed something to cheer about. It would take a great performance against a very talented Cavaliers squad.

Throughout the game, the Sixers and the Cavaliers traded blows, but Philadelphia persevered and won crucially, 104-97. The Sixers now lead the season series 2-1 thanks to the victory, as players from all across the roster put in strong performances.

Buddy Hield scored 13 points and grabbed five rebounds, Tyrese Maxey scored 24 points, five assists, and seven rebounds, and Cam Payne added.

Buddy Hield: B

The opportunities for Hield were limited in this one. Give Cleveland credit for sticking with him and denying him the ball as well as they did in this one. In the few moments he was able to get an open look, he took advantage of it and was efficient for the most part. The negatives were he had a tough time defensively and got into foul trouble.

Tobias Harris: C

If there was anybody who needed a good night after Thursday’s loss, it was Harris. He had a miserable night against New York, but he came out strong against Cleveland. He was helpful on the glass, made some nice passes to get teammates in a position to score, and was aggressive with his offense. As the night went on, it wasn’t the most efficient night for him, but at least he was more aggressive. The Sixers need that with Embiid out. He still needs to be better, and his turnover at the end of the game was bad, but at least he was active and aggressive in this one.
