Grace Kennedy recently designed and coordinated the wonderful wedding of Vincent Kompany, Captain of Manchester FC and his lovely bride Carla. The glamorous wedding was attended by 200 guests.
The London Community Gospel choir accompanied by a string quartet sang ‘Like a Star’,  the Corrine Bailey – Rae song, as the bride walked down the aisle. The ceremony room in the castle was decorated with over a 1000 orchids and roses. The bride was dressed in a stunning couture wedding dress especially sourced by Grace, as were the bridesmaids’ dresses, groom’s suits which were all arranged and personally coordinated by Grace and then selected by the bride and groom. After the ceremony the bride and groom received congratulations from their guests at a champagne reception on the north lawn of the castle terrace while they were entertained by a steel band. The wedding party and guests then moved to a marquee specially prepared for the wedding banquet by the internationally renowned chef Wim Castelyn, who had been flown in from Belgium to cater for the event. After the wedding banquet the bride and groom led their guests with a first dance in an impressive stylish night club area especially created for the wedding after party with entertainment by the Noisettes.
This was then followed by a spectacular fireworks display.
The bride and groom said ‘It was the wedding of our dreams; we did not want it to end’.
