However, Tampa Bay’s Baker Mayfield, over Philadelphia’s Jalen Hurts, shined brightest on the biggest stage. The former first-overall pick dominated for four quarters, leading his team to a convincing 32-9 victory. The Sooner faithful took to social media during and after the game, praising Mayfield for his playoff performance.

Baker Mayfield, a former gunslinger for the Oklahoma Sooners, finished the contest 22-0f-36 for 337 yards and three touchdowns. He added 16 yards on two carries. Without a few crucial fumbles from future Hall of Fame wide receiver Mike Evans and the dependable Cade Otton, Mayfield could have put up more productive stats.
