MITCHELL, Florida – Mathew Sexton, a wide receiver, has been signed by the Miami Dolphins to a reserve/future contract.
On March 31, 2021, Sexton signed a contract with Pittsburgh to start his NFL career. He spent time in 2023 on the practice squads of Atlanta and New England. In 2022, he also had some time with Kansas City. In the spring of 2023, Sexton was a member of the XFL’s Vegas Vipers, where he caught 23 passes for 364 yards at an average of 15.8 yards. During his undergraduate career, he caught 100 passes for 1,335 yards (13.4 avg.) and nine touchdowns at Eastern Michigan.
