The 24-year-old will spend the entire 2023–2024 season in his native Scotland, making his first trip back since departing Rangers in 2019.

Dallas signed a three-year contract at Oakwell and moved to Barnsley from Solihull Moors earlier in the transfer window.

He played in five of Barnsley’s first six games, but his loan exit was announced before Sam Cosgrove, the Reds’ newest acquisition, was introduced.

“We wish Andy the best this season as he moves to Kilmarnock for the balance of the season,” Barnsley CEO Khaled El-Ahmad stated.

“We wish Andy the best of luck and look forward to watching him continue to grow.”

“Kilmarnock Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Andy Dallas who joins on a season-long loan deal from Barnsley, subject to SFA approval,” read a statement issued by the club.

“The 24-year-old attacker, who has experience from both sides of the border, will strengthen Derek McInnes’ attack. The Glasgow-born striker progressed through Rangers’ youth before making an impression during loan stints with Stenhousemuir and Greenock Morton, which led to a 2019 transfer to Cambridge United.

Dallas spent time at Weymouth, Solihull Moors, and Chesterfield as well. This summer, he signed a three-year deal with Barnsley of the EFL League One.

The entire club would like to extend a hearty welcome to Andy at Rugby Park.
