Leeds have signed a new deal worth £100m that has thrill fans.

Leeds United are on the verge of securing a £100m deal to expand and enhance Elland Road. The club are currently in third place in the Championship and are looking to close the eight point gap on leaders Leicester City.

Daniel Farke was appointed in July to lead the club back into the top flight after they were relegated last season.

And while they are playing exciting football on the pitch, they are also set to make an exciting investment off it.

It has been reported by Football Insider that the club have agreed to ‘accelerate plans to extend Elland Road’ after securing ‘external investment’ for the project.

The plan is to invest £100m to expand Elland Road to a capacity of 55,000, with the 49ers having completed their takeover in the summer.

It is understood that the 49ers have ambitious plans to improve Elland Road, with the club hoping to raise the money through share sales, according to The Athletic, as reported by Football Insider.

This could result in Elland Road generating £400m in annual revenue.
