“Who’s in line after them? It is undoubtedly Saka.
Paul Merson made the stunning remark that Liverpool should sell Mohamed Salah and replace him with Bukayo Saka.

Salah was the focal point of a £150 million deadline-day offer from Saudi Pro League team Al Ittihad, which the Reds immediately rejected.

Al Ittihad is rumored to be preparing to make another bid for the Egyptian, who has two years left on his contract, that will be close to £200 million.

Merson thinks Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp should sell the 31-year-old and utilize the substantial proceeds to replace him with Arsenal’s number seven despite the club’s repeated insistence that their star player is not for sale.

On Soccer Saturday, he questioned, “Do they sell him for £200 million and then in January see if they can get Saka from Arsenal for $150?”

Who is the next person in line if I can win £200 million and one person is 31 years old? Who will emerge as the next big thing?

Clinton Morrison concurred, saying that Al Ittihad would sign the forward in a year if a deal couldn’t be reached this summer.

Saka, an ardent Arsenal supporter, may find it difficult to leave the Gunners, and it is unclear whether Liverpool would even think an attempt to sign him is feasible.

You may argue that Liverpool would be in a better situation if this were happening two seasons ago, but as things are, Arsenal is participating in the Champions League while Jurgen Klopp’s squad is confined to the Europa League.
