On Sunday, after the Lions pulled out a gutsy 41-38 win over the Chargers, Campbell gave another rousing speech to his players, filling NFL fans energy.
The Lions’ decades-long playoff struggles and disappointments have been well-documented, but fans sensed a new attitude under Campbell.
Campbell’s tenure in Detroit began with a three-win 2021 season.
However, in 2022, the Lions finished 9-8 and recorded their first winning season since 2017 .
In Campbell’s third season, Detroit (7-2) sits atop the NFC North and now has the second-best record in the NFC behind the Eagles (8-1).
Campbell is building a winning culture in Detroit and fans are excited for what’s to come.
Winning games they use to blow. Winning on the road. Overcoming bad calls. Winning after a loss & after a bye. Scoring after the other team scores. Beating good teams. This isn’t relying on a qb to bail us out or fluke wins. For the first time since 93 Lions have a good team.
