Marvelous Nakamba expressed gratitude to the Aston Villa supporters for their warm welcome when he returned to Villa Park the previous weekend.
With his new team Luton Town, which he joined following five years with Villa before making the permanent move to Kenilworth Road in the summer, the 29-year-old was back on familiar ground.
During a loan stint in the Premier League the previous season, Nakamba assisted Luton in winning promotion, and he is now trying to keep them there. Luton has gained five points from their first ten games, including a 3-1 loss to Villa recently, so that is not an easy task.
Nevertheless, after joining Villa from Club Brugge in 2019, Nakamba was warmly welcomed by the supporters as a sign of his popularity there.

“I’m someone who is closer to everyone around me and enjoys their company, so receiving that kind of response naturally made both fans happy.
